The best doll for you is the one whose material, weight, skeleton and seller terms fit how you will use it. Eight checks, all done before you pay, show which one that is.
5silicone grades XYcolo lists, from PS to PRO PLUS

The best sex doll is the one that fits you
A ranking reflects what its author liked. Whether a doll suits you comes down to things you can check: the material and grade, the weight you can lift, the skeleton, the finish and the seller behind it. A 2020 scientific review of research on dolls and robots found no observational or experimental study that used actual dolls, so your own checks carry more weight than any list.
Each check below uses XYcolo silicone dolls as the worked example, so it matches a real choice on an order form.
Eight details that make a doll worth its price
You can check each one in the listing or with a single message to the seller.
Aluminum or steel, jointed or wire fingers, joint tightness, spare parts
The joints carry every pose, and owners report them loosening over years of use, so pick the tightness with care
Seams
Close-up photos of the side seam left by the mold
On silicone the mold seam can’t be fully removed; XYcolo calls its 157 cm body almost seamless, and AIO models have no neck seam
Makeup
Is the color set into the silicone or painted on top?
XYcolo says makeup on its OS grade survives a wipe with 95% alcohol, while PS body makeup comes off
Weight
Listed weight, and whether it includes the head
You lift this weight every time you move the doll, so check it against your strength
Softness vs shape
How soft the body is, and how the seller says to store it
Very soft grades dent more easily; XYcolo says so openly for PRO PLUS and advises hanging storage
Factory photos
Will you see your own doll before it ships?
You can catch a wrong head, skin tone or flaw before the box is sealed
Seller and terms
Is the store on the maker’s own seller list? Is a warranty published?
XYcolo lists the stores it works with to help buyers get authentic dolls; warranty terms come from the seller, in writing
Reading a listing: XYcolo silicone grades
XYcolo makes silicone dolls only and names the grade in each listing with a short code, and the code tells you more about feel, weight and makeup than the photos can.
Grade
What XYcolo says
What to weigh
PS
Platinum silicone, the entry level: soft, heavier, with light makeup
The lowest-cost way into silicone: in 2024 XYcolo said PS has “a price level of TPE”; body makeup wipes off with strong alcohol
OS
Organic silicone: lighter, with permanent makeup
The lightest XYcolo body, 153 cm in OS, lists about 23 kg (51 lb)
PS PRO, OS PRO
Multi-layer: a PS or OS outer skin over an ultra-soft inner layer
Owners describe a firmer shell with a softer layer under it
PRO PLUS
The same soft layer, made thicker in the seat and thighs
XYcolo says most buyers won’t feel the difference and PRO is enough for a first doll
Super-soft (2026)
Since August 2026 XYcolo says all its dolls use a new super-soft silicone
Ask the seller which grade code comes with it; XYcolo hasn’t mapped it to the grades above
Read the skeleton line the same way. XYcolo lists an aluminum skeleton with jointed fingers or a steel one with wire fingers, both about 4 kg (9 lb), and three joint settings: extreme tight loosens more slowly but wears its washers faster, normal is what most buyers choose, and loose won’t hold a pose.
Softer grades: what you gain and what you carry
XYcolo lists full-size bodies from 150 to 171 cm (4 ft 11 in to 5 ft 7 in) at about 23 to 45 kg (51 to 99 lb), and the softer multi-layer grades sit at the heavy end. Choose the softness your arms and your storage space can live with; full-size dolls and the room they need covers box sizes and storage.
What a softer grade gives you
A softer feel under a firmer outer skin
More give in the seat and thighs on PRO PLUS
Long-lasting body makeup on OSP, which XYcolo paints in more than 10 layers
What it asks of you
More weight to lift; one owner found OSP “heavy for a smaller doll”
Dents if left lying or sitting in one pose for long, as XYcolo warns for PRO PLUS
Storage on a hook or holder, off its back
Air shipping only: XYcolo strongly recommends air freight for PRO grades
Seller, photos and warranty: the checks that protect your order
Four checks on the seller protect your money.
The maker’s seller list
XYcolo keeps a vendor page on its own site, with nine stores listed in September 2026. Buying from a store on that list is the simplest way to get a genuine XYcolo.
Factory photos
Owners report getting photos of their own doll for approval before it ships. Ask for them and check the head, skin tone and makeup against your order.
Warranty in writing
XYcolo does not publish a warranty policy, so ask the seller in writing what is covered, for how long and who pays shipping for a repair.
Returns
Ask about returns before you pick options. Adult products often go back only new and unopened, and a custom-built doll only for a defect.
For long-term experience, read doll owner forums, where XYcolo’s official account also posts. Compare any offer with the maker’s own sale price; what cheap dolls really cost shows how to spot a genuine sale.
A checklist before you pay
01
Get the material and grade in writing
Silicone or TPE, plus the exact grade code. For XYcolo that means PS, OS, a PRO grade or PRO PLUS.
02
Confirm the listed weight
Ask whether it includes the head, which weighs about 2 kg (4 lb) on XYcolo dolls, and how big the box is.
03
Pick the skeleton and joint setting
Aluminum with jointed fingers or steel with wire fingers; normal tightness is the usual choice.
04
Ask for close-up photos
Side seam, hands, feet and makeup, ideally of the doll you will receive.
05
Agree on factory photos
Make approval photos before shipping part of the order.
06
Check the seller
Match the store against XYcolo’s vendor list, opened from XYcolo’s own store, never from an ad.
07
Save the terms
Warranty, returns, shipping and duties in writing, and pay with a method that lets you dispute the charge.
The best sex doll on the market is the one whose material, weight, skeleton and warranty fit how you will use and store it. Start with the material and grade, check the weight you can lift, then judge the seller: the maker’s list, factory photos and written terms. XYcolo, for example, lets you choose the silicone grade, skeleton, joint tightness and, on removable-head bodies, the head.
Are silicone dolls better than TPE dolls?
For lasting makeup and detail, silicone has the edge, while TPE is softer and cheaper: at one large US retailer in October 2026 the median full-size doll was $2,384 in silicone and $1,599 in TPE. Silicone’s side seam can’t be fully removed. XYcolo works in silicone only.
Is XYcolo a good choice?
Yes, if you want a silicone doll you can configure. XYcolo works in silicone only, in several grades, and owners praise its long-lasting skin makeup and detailed hands and feet. The softer grades weigh more and the side seams show, so match the grade to your strength and storage. Its own store listed full-size dolls from $2,064 on sale in October 2026.
Do the best dolls come with a warranty?
Warranty terms come from the seller, so get them in writing before you pay: what is covered, for how long and who pays shipping for a repair. XYcolo does not publish a warranty policy, and owners report it has sent free repair kits (the buyer paid shipping), repair silicone and, after a loss in transit, a replacement head. Keep the seller’s answer with your order confirmation.
How heavy is a typical full-size doll?
At one large US retailer in October 2026, the median full-size doll weighed 35 kg (77 lb) in silicone and 37 kg (82 lb) in TPE. XYcolo lists its bodies at about 23 to 45 kg (51 to 99 lb), depending on height and silicone grade, and notes its figures can be off by about 2 kg.
