Privacy policy

The site has no accounts, forms or advertising cookies. This page lists what is still recorded, including session replays, heatmaps and visit statistics.

Summary

  • No accounts, sign-ups, comments, newsletters or contact forms.
  • No advertising cookies.
  • Anonymous visit statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies.
  • Session replays and heatmaps through Contentsquare, which sets first-party cookies of its own.
  • Standard technical logs kept by the hosting provider.
  • After you follow an affiliate link, the store’s own privacy policy applies.
  • The site is meant for adults 18 and over and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Visit statistics

This site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that the service does not use cookies, local storage or any other client-side state to collect its metrics, and does not fingerprint visitors by IP address, browser string or other data. The reports show totals: page views, which pages were visited, referring sites, countries and how fast pages load.

XYcolo Doll Guide uses these numbers only to see which guides people read and which pages load slowly. They are not combined with other data, sold or used for advertising.

Session replays and heatmaps

The site also uses Contentsquare, which records how visitors use the pages: clicks, mouse movements, scrolling and moves between pages, along with basic device and browser details. From this data Contentsquare builds session replays, which reconstruct a single visit, and heatmaps, which show where visitors click and how far they scroll. XYcolo Doll Guide uses them to see where readers get stuck and which pages break on some devices.

By default, Contentsquare masks text typed into input fields and does not collect it. There are no forms on the site, so there is nowhere to type personal details in any case.

To tell visits and sessions apart, Contentsquare sets first-party cookies on this site. According to Contentsquare’s documentation, the main ones are _cs_id, which stores a visitor ID, a visit count and timestamps for 13 months, and _cs_s, which stores data about the current session for 30 minutes and renews while you stay active. Other websites cannot read first-party cookies.

Contentsquare processes this data on behalf of the site and under its instructions, as a data processor. According to Contentsquare, the data is stored in data centers in Europe or the United States and kept for 13 months by default.

Hosting logs

Like any website, this site runs on servers that receive technical data with each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. The hosting provider processes this data to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse, under its own privacy policy. XYcolo Doll Guide does not use these logs to identify visitors.

Forms, accounts and email

The site has no contact form, newsletter, comments or user accounts, and it publishes no email address. It therefore holds no names, email addresses, postal addresses or payment details of its readers.

Affiliate links and the store

The “Check prices” buttons and the look cards on the home page pass through a short redirect on this site and then open one outside store. The redirect itself sets no cookies; like any request, it appears in the hosting logs.

Once you reach the store, its own privacy policy and cookie rules apply, including any tracking the store or its affiliate program uses to record that you came from this site. Read the store’s policy before you place an order. The affiliate disclosure explains how the link works.

Your choices

The site has no accounts, so there is nothing to delete or export. To stop Contentsquare from recording your visits, block cookies for this site in your browser settings: its tag checks that it can set cookies and records nothing when it cannot. Blocking only third-party cookies is not enough, since these cookies are first-party. You can also block analytics scripts with an extension; every page works the same without them. Contentsquare’s documentation does not say that the tag honors Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals, so those settings alone may not stop it.

Questions about data held by a store or by XYcolo go to that business directly. Contentsquare’s privacy policy explains how to send it a request about the data it holds.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever adds a feature that collects more data, this page will be updated before the feature goes live. The current version is dated October 2026.
